What a Slice is
A Slice is an ERC-721 NFT on Base. It records your share of a pre-IPO offering. It is not stock in the company, and it does not give you a vote in that company.
Each Slice is meant to be backed 1:1 by equity held in a separate structure, such as an SPV, under the offering documents. Payouts from an exit are in USDC.
What you can do
- Hold it until an IPO, sale, dividend, or other exit.
- List it on the WLTH marketplace when the fund terms allow a transfer. WLTH does not promise a buyer.
- Split it into smaller Slices. A split cannot be undone.
- Gift it by email.
- Vote on exit opportunities when the deal terms say Slice holders vote.
- After unlock, claim it to USDC from Portfolio.
What “tradable” means
A Slice can be listed when the rules for that offering allow it. A sale still needs another person who will pay your price. Lock-ups, jurisdiction checks, and a lack of buyers can block a sale. WLTH does not buy the Slice back.
WLTH is non-custodial. The contracts move the asset. WLTH does not hold it for you.
