Security best practices
Do not give anyone your private key or seed phrase. Check the site address yourself. Ignore a message that promises a sure profit.
- Do not open a link in an email or text and then type a key or password.
- Check the domain before you connect a wallet. Hover a link and read the address.
- If someone calls and says they are support, hang up and use the Discord contact on this site.
- Do not send crypto to a “giveaway” that asks you to send some first.
- Check the destination address before you send a transaction. Avoid public Wi-Fi for that.
- Keep software updated, and keep a backup of anything you cannot lose.
